Who We Are

A Home for India's Living Traditions

Atulya Bhartiya Sanskritik Sansthan (ABSS) is a prominent modern fine arts institute that especially deals with the performing arts — dance, music, drama, film and more — offering programmes that help young artists define their careers in the respective industry at an international level. Our goal is to introduce a unique and innovative approach to fine arts education in India.

Through its broad network of collaborators, ABSS promotes cross-cultural dialogue and exchange, particularly between modern and more traditional styles of fine arts. We believe in the power of the arts to bridge linguistic, economic, cultural and intellectual divides, and we work toward a local-to-global arts community in constant cooperation and learning.

ABSS views fine arts education as a holistic learning experience, producing well-rounded students with a strong sense of professionalism and a profound awareness of the diversity in the arts. As the oldest civilization in the world, India is treasured with rich traditions of music and art — many on the verge of extinction through past neglect. It is vital to familiarize the new generation with this rare national treasure and awaken their national self-respect.
